Crossdocking

This is a cost-saving distribution concept where goods are moved directly from the unloading dock to the loading dock without storing them in between. (Some advantages: inventory reduction, lower storage and handling costs.) Our drivers collect shipments from our customers or their suppliers daily. The goods go back on the road the next day. Extra attention is given to scheduling and loading your shipments.
For example, every morning, shipments in the cross-docking area are reconciled with order administration to ensure the agreed-upon day of delivery is respected for each order.

Depending on their nature, your goods are stored in pallet racks or bulk locations. Your transport orders are compiled here daily: full pallets are taken directly from the location; quantities less than a pallet are collected from the picking locations, which are fixed and unique for each article reference. Both storage and goods handling are controlled by an in-house developed WMS application. It is continuously updated to meet the requirements of our customers at any time.

In our storage space, our experienced and certified staff work entirely electronically. They use our own developed Warehousing Management System. We always have the correct information about your inventory: size, stacking method, types of pallets, number of units/pallets, weights, visual material.
